The sound of Gin moving pulled Siyah from his relaxed state. His eyes turned towards her and he watched her get up. He lifted his head and then watched her whisper to the stack of bark and then lit it on fire. A small smile spread over his muzzle as he looked up at Gin. His auds twitched and then slanted back as she spoke to her brother. His head laid back down on his paws. His tail curled back around his side and tapped lightly on the ground.
His muscles twitched and his claws dug into the ground as he heard Rave leave again. He rolled his eyes and then closed them. He tried to relax but the fur on his neck stood up. He wasn't at all comfortable around the other male, knowing that there was something wrong with him. He was evil, he could sense it. His tail flicked from one side of his body to the other as he lay boredly. His auds swiveled around on his head as he listened for any sounds of Rave.
His muscles tense as he heard the brute come back and lay on top of the root again. Obviously he was too stubborn to come into the den with them. Whatever, it didn't bother him. Just gave him more room to stretch out. He rolled onto his side and lay his head on the ground, relaxing. His eyes drifted closed and he attempted to sleep a bit. It would mostly likely be a long day tomorrow of Rave snarling at him and Gin trying to get the brutes to get along.

Dark blue eyes continued to watch the flames dance and whip around the rubble. A sense of calm had crossed her mind as she watched, thinking back to her early puphood. No screams, no howls, no yells. When it was all calm with her mother and brothers. But the peace hadn't lasted long. With a sigh, the silver wolf closed her eyes slowly, the cracking and whooshing of the flames lolling her to sleep. The drumming rain outside also helped her to relax, putting her mind at ease.
Her ears twitched as she idly listened and heard Rave leave and come back. He sure did move around a lot. The scent of sizzle fur reached her nose, and she could only guess that he must've been playing with his fire or something. Gin flattened her ears, claws flexing after a moment. The calming downs of both fire and rain seemed to calm her once more, and before she knew it, her mind has wandered and set her into a warm sleep.
**
The silver wolfs fur rippled and she suppressed a shutter. Blinking blue eyes open, Gin tiredly rose her head. Groggy eyes looked around the den as the silver flame she had lit the night before still burned. Screwing up her face, she shook her head slowly. Why did she have to be an early riser like her mother? If she gained anything from her father, it was not being a morning person.
With a yawn, Gin tossed a tired gaze toward the den entrance. It was still dark out, but the clouds had mostly vanished. The sky was painted a dark blue and no stars shinned. Just before dawn, she thought. Yawning quietly, Gin sat up , her ears flat and her mind flustered that she'd woken so early. Holding back a snort, she very quietly stood up and padded toward the entrance. Gazing outward to the sleeping world, her eyes wandered idly to the sky as she watched and waiting for the sunrise. I’ll let it show that I’m not always hiding Come all the way down And watch me burn
He had sensed the wolves in his territory even before they had set foot in it. He had preferred to not care, to not bother himself with walking the entire length of his territory to greet them. Why bother when he was comfortable where he was at. But, by nightfall, when the scents had remained, he had no choice but to lift his large frame off the rock he was sleeping on and trek the entire length of his territory to either scare them off or accept them into his pack, neither idea seemed alluring to him. It took him all night and during that time, it gave him the chance to assess the wolves that were in his territory. There were two males and a female, all three rather skiddish of each other, keeping to themselves and only speaking if the problem called for it. Both males were strong and able-bodied but the female seemed too soft for his liking. He snorted. This would be easier than he thought. It was nearly sunrise when he reached the sleeping wolves. Around his paws, flames danced, licking at his legs and stomach hungrily but hardly leaving a mark. In fact, it was more like a warm breeze to him. The flames were no color that any wolf would see. They were black, perfectly blending into the darkness of the early morning. No need to rise an alarm as of yet. He wanted to test each one; not the whole menagerie at once. The first wolf he found was the female, the one he thought too soft to live here. She was staring at the sky and he wanted to snort. She was one of those. Sweetheart, around these parts, there was no other beings besides me. He thought to himself. But he approached her nonetheless, seeming to materialize out of the darkness next to her, his black flames licked at his legs and trying to reach out for Gin, wanting to engulf her. "May I ask what the fuck you three want here?" he asked her, keeping his voice level and even. "I don't allow free roamers." he told her, his flames leaping higher, threatening to overcome her and devour her but he held them at bay. There was no need to chase her out...yet. Rave's chest began to slowly rise and fall as he relaxed. His ears flicked on his head as he laid there on the root. His eyes soon drifted fully close and he went limp some what. He slept soundly for a little bit till the sound of thunder woke him. He looked around and shook his head from the water falling over his eyes. He growled and then took a deep breath and looked up at the sky, the rain was settling down and the sky seemed to clear up some. He rested his head back down on his burnt front paws and sighed some. they still hurt but it started to not bother Rave any more, besides pain was just something in his mind wasnt it? At leas that was what he was told. it is all in his mind that he is in pain. Maybe that was why he didnt hurt so much like his sister did when he growled at the male.
He shook his head and sighed some. He hated the fact that he was so much like their father. Some times it bothered him but other times it made him proud to be like him. His father was so powerful, so full of intel and knowlage tha t only rave could dream about. He took a deep breath and then went back to sleep only to see darkness, it was something he looked forward too. He didnt want to dream about the war he had gone threw year ago. He shifted lightly and heard his sister stir in the early morning. He sat up and looked at her and smirked some as he leaped from the root and nuzzled her slightly. He then turned to the sky and sighed some as the sun began to rise over the horizan. He sat down and looked up at the sky till something had caught his eye.
there was movement and it was not a normal sized wolf. He stood up and the mane that ran down his back stood up on end and his hair hung over his eyes only seemed to make him look more demonic. He barred his fangs and then rose his shoulders and watched as a large male appeared from the air. He snapped his jaws and stood close to his sister. He heard the voice and smirked some. so who the hell did this brujo think he was, king kong, pft Rave didnt care but he had no right talking to his sister like that.
"why the hell does it matter brujo! We were here first. And you will not speak to my sister that way you old fuck."
He hissed as flames erupted around the two wolves. They flared up around the wolves and protected them from any kind of attack. He narrowed his eyes and the flames changed colors. He smirked and then let out a demonic snarl. He looked at his sister and then nodded to her. Letting her know that he was going to protect her from the male, no matter what happened. He turned back to the male and lowered his head and felt his hairs stand on end again and felt his muscles tense up. he was ready for anything now.

The noise of Gin and Rave moving about caused Siyah to stir. His eyes drifted open and a yawn escaped his maw. His auds quickly pricked atop his head as a new male voice hit his ears. His head popped up suddenly and his nostrils flared. Who was this rude brute who talked so fouly to a female he wondered. He pushed himself up to his feet and shook out his fur. His tail flicked and he stepped out of the den, seeing Gin and Rave in front of him and another male. The male was much larger then any normal wolf he had ever seen.
His auds twitched as he heard Rave snap at the new male about talking to his sister so crudely. He snorted and walked up beside his two "companions." He looked over the new male and lowered his head respectfully. He had heard stories about the gods and immediately knew who this brute was. He looked at Rave and snorted, quite annoyed with the ignorant brute. "Rave he is the god of these lands" he hissed at the black brute. His tail flicked and his paws hissed as fire surged through his blood. He had never thought he would actually meet the fire god.
He looked at Gin and gave her a quick smile. He knew the way Aedan had spoken wasn't appropriate, but he was a god, so he could speak how he pleased. He looked towards Aedan and gave him a soft nod of his head. "Lord Aedan, we have come to these lands in search of a home. This female, Gin, and myself wish to belong to the pack here" he explained to the god. He couldn't say anything about Rave because he didn't know if the brute wanted to stay or not. He was good with his powers, but he knew that even if the three of them combined powers they couldn't compare to Aedan.

Gin's gaze was set on the sky. Just waiting for the sun to rise. Nothing more, nothing less. All her gaze searched for was the first streaming lights of dawn, nothing else of any other sort. Twitching her ears, she looked up as Rave stood and leaped down beside her. Her tail wagged slightly and she touched her nose to his after he nuzzled her. I hope I didn't wake you, she wanted to say, but staid quiet. She wasn't one to talk in the morning. Once Siyah got up, it'd be time for them to move out and search again. For a pack? Maybe, though it still looked like there wasn't a fire one even if the lands were perfect for it. They'd find what they'd find, she supposed.
Her ideas were shattered when another male entered the scene. He seemed to appear in front of her like a shadow, black flames surging around his lower body and lashing out. She kept her stance, not afraid of the scorching fire. Her eyes looked up at him as he seemed to whisper to her. No way. He just said it. The one word she hated. Her blood ran hot like the fire she possessed, holding herself back from doing anything that would show her anger. That word. She hated it. Hated. Hated. Hated. Hated. It didn't make it better when Rave over reacted and surrounded the two with a small blaze that looked kinda like a wall of flame. She shot him a glare as he said the word too. Damnit all, she hated it! Her claws dug into the ground, forcing herself to stay calm. Breath. Stay calm.
Gin glanced at Rave again, stopping herself from yelling at him. I appreciate your help, Rave, but you must understand that we are GROWN and can take care of ourselves she thought harshly, turning her eyes back to the huge wolf before them. She didn't need protection. She wasn't a pup or softy. She knew how to defend herself for heavens sake. Taking a breath, she looked her other side as Siyah made his appearance. So he'd awoke too. Probably from her brothers words to this new arrival. She caught his smile to her and she began to relax. At least Siyah wasn't acting overly aggressive.
Turning her attention back to Aedin, she listened as Siyah spoke. It all made sense now. The power that surged off of him, the sheer size of him and the immense amount of authority in his voice. She too dipped her head for a moment, still feeling a lingering small amount of bitterness for his words. Then again, he was a god, he could speak how he liked. No questions asked. Pushing away, she raised her head again to look at him. Not in a challenging way, no, just observing. She nodded as Siyah introduced her. "As my acquaintance Siyah has said, the both of us wished to stay in the pack here," she said calmly. "We weren't sure where it was located, so we stopped for the night when the storm rolled in." Dark blue eyes watched him, feeling the fire still roaring in her blood and body. She had a powerful urge to show off her unique silver flame but held it at bay. She wasn't sure why. Gin dipped her head again in respect, wondering how Aedin would react.

Well this was more interesting than he had thought. He had thought he could at least scare them away but they had given him a come back just has strong at his. He sat down, amused, the black flames that had been leaping at them calmed down, twining around his ankles and legs like a quiet snake. The sun was just beginning to show on the horizon, the valley beginning to stir with life. The tension, though, was still high. Before he could put this male in his place for daring to speak against him, another male appeared, his body language and his expression that of respect and awe. Now, this was more like it! He turned back to the first male as his appearance was finally announced. What did the loud mouthed male have to say about that now? Obviously, he would need to kiss ass before Aedan decided to put him on the higher ranks. "A pack?" he snorted. He hadn't had a pack in these parts since his daughter was born, before the war. But after the war, after the deaths and tragedies, his pack left, terrified for their lives. So now it was just him. HIs daughter had left to make her own pack and he hadn't seen her in years. It was enough to make anyone cranky. But he hadn't thought about starting a pack since them. It had never even once entered his mind.
"I suppose I can start a pack again. Of course, there are restrictions." he smirked at them. He could sense their elements; being the God of Fire gave him that power but he wouldn't allow weaklings in his pack. This wasn't a land of weaklings. "Obviously you have figured out that these are the Fire Lands. I allow no other wolves here besides fire elementals. I suppose you all have what it takes to survive here?" He asked, raising a brow. He turned his attention on Rave, a glare almost crossing his face. He didn't like that male and was daring him to act out again. He'd be the first to go, whether he was a fire elemental or not.

Rave's massive body tensed as the male spoke. He turned to the other male that had been with his sister and snarled some. Big deal, so this idiot male was god, doesnt give him right to speak to a female the way he did. HE turned back to his sister and heard her speak, he turned his head and looked back to the forest that he wanted to return to and stay hidden, but he knew that would upset his sister. He sighed and then turned back as he heard the voice of the so called god. He rolled his eyes and then sat down and curled his tail around his paws and watched as flames flickered around him. He flicked his ears back as he sat there. He rolled his head some and heard it crack a little as he sat there.
He looked around and then looked at the male. So he wanted to start a pack, well the only ones he had a choice of alpha was that stupid ass chicken male, and his sister. Rave would never take a pack rank, to him packs where just a pain in the ass, why be in a pack when you can be a loner and do what you want when you want. He shook his head and then looked at his sister again and licked her softly as he looked at the male. If that male dared to speak to his sister again in that tone he would rip the male's throat out whether he was a god or not

Siyah simply ignored the snarl he heard come from Rave. By now the male's aggression towards him was normal to him. It didn't bother him that Rave didn't like him. His opinion meant nothing, and he meant nothing. His nostrils flared and he simply snorted in response to the snarl. His auds swiveled atop his head as Gin spoke, and then Aedan. His tail flicked and his muscles tensed as he gave a sly grin towards the god. Survive here?, he knew he could survive here. Despite what the other male thought, he knew that he was strong. He had been building his powers since he was only a very young pup. So he was very experienced and well trained.
He turned his gaze to Gin and gave her a small smirk before turning back to Aedan. "Thank you, Sir. I am positive we will survive well here" he said. His muscles pulsed beneath his pelt as he stood and shook out his fur. He wanted to go and look around the pack lands, to get used to his surroundings. His auds twitched and pricked atop his head as he looked around the group, patiently waiting to see what would happen next.

Blue eyes continued to gaze at this god. He was of fire, obviously, and he held power over this land. Dominion. He reigned and ruled. If there were a pack, he'd be above alpha, she knew this for sure. The alpha would take order from him, and the pack would take orders from both. Flicking ears at the thought, she tossed the idea of joint leadership around in her mind. Very well put, she'd guess. Joint leadership could either lead to rivalry or peace. She hoped it was the second.
Blinking, Gin listened to him speak. So he was concidering? Well, it was obvious he didn't have a pack started. So he'd start one up again? Great! Dipping her head again, Gin let off a grin. Survive? Oh she could do that, no doubt in her mind. She was of fire, of course she would! Catching Siyahs eye, she smirked a little before looking toward Aedin. "Thank you," she echoed Siyah. "I agree. We all have the will to survive."
Her tail swished slowly behind her as she watched, waited. If there was a pack to be formed, the alpha should be chosen. But who? She didn't let this concern her for long. Aedin would chose the best, she guessed. Whomever he chose, she'd follow. That's how things went in the pack. Follow the rulers. Simple orders, no doubt. Now was a the waiting game again. May your road wander.
With nothing but the will of the breeze to lead her on, she padded smoothly over the soil, weaving in and out amongst the sparse vegetation. The muddled and subtly bitter scent of sulfur and charcoal had filled her nostrils for many miles, and only now did it begin to mix and give way to the salty-sweet and rich scent of her own kind. It was almost a surprise how swiftly the sensation came on; it already seemed so very long since she had found herself among other wolves. And in the land of flame.
The black and red she-wolf stopped and breathed deeply the free and wild air of Aedan's land, willfully cleansing her nostrils of all scents but that of the surely nearby wolves. A passionate flicker of excitement and longing shot through her veins - a thrill of exhilaration. Even a wanderer cannot travel alone forever. With a snort and a shake, she resumed her course, following the intensifying scent and the distant sound of disquieted voices. Her new-found energy tensed in her lean muscles, and she broke into a rolling gallop, swiftly closing the distance between her and the voices that promised both challenge and potential camaraderie. It was the struggle she craved most. The quest and the challenge. Indeed - survival.
The tremor of quarrels still hung in the air, and caused her a moment's pause. This was no ordinary gathering of wolves - tensions were high, and so were the stakes. Her golden-yellow eyes, set deep in a dark face streaked with blood-like tear stains, surveyed the scene from her relative distance. Her ears forward, intensely attentive, collected the trails of conversation wafting toward her on the warm breeze. The scents of the wolves mingled and divided in her mind's eye. There were more than simply wolves gathered here - flesh and blood, and more. Fire - both of literal and of spirit. The she-wolf's red-flecked tail twitched in anticipation and curiosity, mixed with awe. The emotions were mixed, intensifying the musty scents in the air: anger, pride, frustration, a hint of denied fear - and pure, blazing passion. The deep red hackles rose like needles on her back. By fate or by chance - she had stumbled upon the formative moments of a new pack. And not just any clan of elemental wolves resided here.
She sounded a growling moan that curled up from the deepest reaches of her toes, and rose to a high-pitched, near-whine. Neither a loud nor drawn-out announcement of her presence, there was something vaguely matter-of-fact about the brief chorus. She had heard the god's desire for survivors, and the instinct to prove herself worthy of the title burned itself into the she-wolf's mind, as if glowing embers had been sprayed into the very center of the black cross that adorned her mask. To face a god was a new challenge indeed. Alphas and omegas, lone wolves, wanderers, spies, scouts, and warriors - all these, she knew well; the customs, required respect and necessary authority and force to display. But the thrill of facing powers she could not understand - excited her to the core.
She stepped forward, her posture riding the line between submission and dominance - pledging allegiance to neither. Ears attentively forward and golden eyes wide, she cast her gaze across each wolf in the small gathering, and bowed her head ever so slightly in genial greeting. Her eyes came to rest on the figure of Aedan, whose voice had beckoned an answer. "Lord - you say you seek only survivors," the she-wolf began, her voice low for a female, and quietly intense. "If nothing else, that is what I am. My name is Mythra, daughter of the Wanderlust. My wanderer's road has led me here - and if you and yours should have me -" she paused to glance at each wolf in attendance - "Then my fangs and life would be yours, for whatever time my soul shall bear."

These wolves might think of him as nothing more than an Alpha or perhaps a wolf who's power may only slightly exceed their own. It was a foolish mistake, however, he would not let it bother him. These pathetic mortals would soon find out who was boss here and not in the kindest of ways either. This male, this...Rave, was beginning to irk him in ways he hadn't felt in years. He was the reason he hadn't tried to bring a pack around; he hated the ignorance and the hotheadedness. He hated males who thought they were tough shit. However, being a God did give him the reason to do as he please, no matter what this Rave thought. If females were not to be spoken to like that, they then would subject themselves to living in a male society. Especially in these lands. He was the ruler here, no matter what anyone else thought. He sat back down, looking thoroughly interested as they spoke. He wouldn't allow his emotions to seep through. Emotions were frugal mortal things that destroyed lives. But, he did understand emotions. For one, he could see the love and respect this Rave had for the female. Possibly a sister? There was definitely a likeness. He seemed to be too much of a loner to be allowed to have another male rule over him; he was having a hard enough time with him now. Not to mention, he despised having a male beneath him, second in power. Why not have a female all the others respected and who treated him with respect. He would have to keep an eye on her. For now, he was running the show.
He didn't get a chance to reply, however, as a new scent flooded his sense, bringing his gaze to his right as a female descended down to the group. Her posture was one of respect and almost awe. He was flooded with pride. Finally, a wolf who knew her place before a God. She seemed almost desperate, as though her whole reason for survival was to stand here before him. He had turned his entire attention on this female, his senses barely registering the other wolves. There was something about her; something he lusted after. Perhaps it was the respect and awe or perhaps it was the want to prove herself to him that seemed to radiate off of her like a heat wave. He broke into a grin, the black flames along his paws reaching out to her. "I could always use a worthy solider in my ranks." he told her. "Especially one who willingly gives their services." he glanced at Rave as if to sneer at him.
