The sun was at it's highest point in the sky. A lone wolf stood admist the purple blossoming flowers staring up toward the sky feeling the gentle rays trickling down their back. Tail swinging ever so softly the wolf was content, their posture held no signs of anger or dominance. Though they were completely oblivious to the fact that they had decided to walk right through the middle of a pack of wolves. Yet, unannounced to this specific wolf. This territory was still open to he, for he held the same abilities and exponential powers as those who roamed here. Yet had he found out sooner that there were scent markings, he would have steered clear. Yet here he was. Standing in the middle of a bed of flower pedals, purple and rich; day dreaming up toward the sky. His shimmering white fur fought with the sun, leaving him with a strong radiant glow. He felt at ease, at peace. The sun was there to warm and comfort him.
The wind rustled faintly against his pelt, his ears perking gently as he lowered his muzzle from the onslaught of air. His nostrils nestling against the flower pedals, giving a faint sniff he felt pollen rush into his senses and he took a step away. Sneezing softly he smiled, the edges of his maw pulling back as he released a sigh from his jowls. His haunches fell against the grass as he tumbled onto his back, laughing if only to himself. He rolled admist the foliage tail swinging back and fourth. His soft belly exposed to the bright sun feeling the warming embrace wrap about him as the morning dew sank into his back sending chills up his spine. Bliss at last. He had been traveling for so long, running from his past and all memories of why he felt the need to be alone. He flopped onto his side and folded his ears back, closing his eyes as he took a deep relaxing breath in. He felt completely at ease. There wasn't a soul around to spoil his fun, he was glad he was alone.
Though there was a sudden alarming order wafting into his nostrils as the wind carried it to him. His brown eyes shot open as he flicked his head forward still on his side he bit his blackened lower lip grinding his canines against it. This wasn't neutral territory. He'd done the unspeakable, he'd crossed into another wolf's land. Uh oh. Now he was in trouble. His paws pushed against the soil as he propped himself up, clots of dirt falling from his previously white pelt. He sighed softly. Great now he was smack in the middle of a rock and a hard place. He couldn't go back, he didn't want to face his past. But what if this pack was dangerous? He didn't want to be killed just because he made a mistake. Bah he should have known better than to go wandering into a seemingly harmless meadow. A rookie mistake if anything. It had been an eternity it seemed since he really was close in a pack, he didn't know much of pack life. Yet if he stayed here any longer he'd be a sitting duck. He pushed himself off the ground, sitting looking over the field of flowers in fear.

Alone
This was a completely new feeling, and not exactly the best feeling. She had never been alone from the time of birth. Even when she left her family's pack lands, she always had her brother. They were inseperable, being twins made them have a special connection. But that connection couldn't keep them together forever. Her brother wanted to be around others like himself.. Fire elements. So she was left alone to find others, hopefully with the same water element that she herself was.
The smell of wild flowers filled her pink nares as the female made her way out of the forest. Blue orbs widened at the sight of the beautiful purple plants. The sweet smell lured her to the meadow. White fure swayed in the gentle breeze as she exited the line of trees, stepping out into the sunlight. Her eyes squinted a bit at first, needing to adjust to the change in the light. Once her eyes had adjusted a smile spread over her lips at the beauty of the place. She had never seen something so amazing in her whole life. This place was definitely somewhere that she would like to live. Hopefully it could be her new home, but she'd have to look around first. There could be hidden danger behind the beauty.
As the white female moved closer to the wild flowers a new scent filled her nostrils. It was a mixture now, not just the scent of the flowers but the scent of a wolf as well. Her muscles tensed and she immediately stopped moving. Her auds pricked atop her head and her blue orbs searched frantically about her. She lowered her body towards the ground nervously and her eyes kept looking for the owner of the scent. Just then, the head of a white wolf popped out of the flowers. Her breath caught in her throat and she whined softly, hoping that he wasn't cruel. Auds slanted back and her tail curled under her body as she held herself still. Should I say something? she thought to herself. She decided to wait and see if she could figure out whether the other wolf was hostile or not.

There seemed to be an utter shift in atmosphere. The land was no longer a peaceful and calm meadow, but now a littered land of danger and the unknown. The male didn't quite know what to make of it, didn't really know which way lead him out into safety. If such a thing even existed anymore for that matter. There was something unsettling admist the blossoming flowers. Although the lilac beauties drifted with sweet caressing scents, he felt even more in danger. If he let his guard down he'd be surely attacked. As the brush rustled behind him his fur stood on end. His body grew rigid and tense. He felt the sensation of being watched. How unpleasant, he didn't enjoy judgmental eyes plastering themselves on him. It was a main reason he tended to drift as a nomad, he didn't form close enough bonds with other wolves to find what exactly the judgments were. He didn't enjoy being labeled in the least bit.
His brown eyes scoured the area looking for signs of life. Any beings that might show dominance. Yet he found none. There didn't seem to be a single being within eye sight. Yet his ears twitching from the sounds of grass being brushed by and his sense of smell catching faint scents different from that of the flowers themselves. Yet it was exceptionally difficult to pin point where exactly they were. The scent seemed to be everywhere, catching with the pollen that frolicked through the very air. His ears flattened against his skull as he quirked a brow. Were they hiding? Ready for a chance to spring upon him? He certainly hoped not. His shoulders rolled forward uneasily as his head seemed to lower back between the tall grass, searching for any clues of other wolves. Yet what he found surprised him most. There seemed to be a mirror image, another wolf of white hue staring back at him.
From the gestures they withheld they seemed to be submissive and passive. Perhaps an omega? He wasn't certainly. His head seemed to tilt to the side in a curious manner. He'd never seen a wolf be afraid of him before. Aside from the typical male stereotype. He sighed and turned his back to her beginning to walk away as if he had seen nothing. His paws carried him to another patch of flowers away from the female. He assumed it was female anyway, smaller than a male at a distance it seemed as well as lacking the charismatic testosterone scent he plopped himself back facing the female as he nudged his nose against a flower licking his lips and nose scrunching it in an unpleasant manner. The flowers certainly smelled nice, yet the taste was sour. He wasn't positive of what these plants were, but they didn't have a poisonous odor, he hoped they weren't dangerous or anything of that manner. He simply sat there nudging the flowers with his muzzle pretending as if he'd never seen the other to begin with.

As she watched the other white wolf she tilted her head to the side, wondering about him. Her blue orbs blinked as his head suddenly disappeared among the flowers. Her auds pricked atop her head, trying to listen for him. She didn't know if he was hostile or friendly, and so it terrified her not to be able to see him. These flowers, though beautiful, were quite a nuisence. How was she going to see him now? Her muscles were tense and her body shook with fright as her belly touched the ground. Her tail still pinned tight beneath her body and her legs shaking. Her auds twitched as she heard movement.
Blue orbs widened as the face of another white wolf came right in front of her own. Her body was still shaking with fear as she stared at the male wolf face to face. A small whimper crawled up her throat and her auds pinned back against her head. Please don't hurt me. She closed her eyes tight and every part of her froze. The shaking had stopped simply because she was too afraid to shake any more. She had never met a male that wasn't obnoxious or dominant.
Her auds twitched at the sound of rustling amongst the flowers. Oh no. Were there others with him? she wondered, getting even more worried and scared. She opened one eye and then the other popped open when she saw the male's back. Her ears stood tall on her head as she watched him walk away from her. She was confused, and tilted her head to the side. Obviously he had no intention of harming her since he had turned his back on her. She watched him as he laid down with his back to her and played with a flower. Her tail uncurled from beneath her body and she let her belly lay on the ground. Now that she knew he wasn't dangerous, she wasn't so afraid. Her nostrils twitched as pollen entered her nose, a small sneeze came from her and she smiled. She looked up once more at the white male and finally pulled up some courage. "Excuse me.." she said in her delicate voice "Are you part of the pack here?" she questioned. She hoped that maybe he could point her in the direction of an alpha so she might seek acceptance on these lands.

It became rather evident that the female was fearful of him. Just as he had been of her. Yet when he drew closer to her it seemed as though she sank and began to whimper like a pup. He felt bad honestly, he didn't mean to frighten her at all. His ears folded against his head as he walked away. Gee was he really that scary? He didn't think so. He didn't have any distinctive aggressive male features. In fact he was very docile, more than most females could even believe. It seemed that when he walked away from her sitting somewhere else to sample the flowers made her calm down. It was as if he was a predator about to strike a helpless rabbit, frozen in fear. He wasn't like that though. He certainly didn't kill animals unless he absolutely had to and he definitely did not attack innocent wolves. And absolutely not on someone's land. That was ridiculous. He never did understand his gender, or rather those individuals in his gender that caused such awful stereotypes.
Though his what seemed to be peculiar behavior to the female didn't deter her any. She in fact seemed to be more curious about him than before. Well at least she wasn't shivering laying on the ground anymore. He heard her voice rupture against his white ears. He flicked them softly, turning them toward her so he could hear her more clearly. He laid himself on his stomach as he sighed, staring at her for a moment before shaking his head. "No sorry. I didn't even know there was a pack on this land until a few moments ago myself. I can't help you out sorry." He sighed and lied his head against his paws, neatly crossed in front of his chest. He wasn't sure what to do anymore. Should he go back or wait for an alpha that might not even be established yet. It was obvious that there was a pack here, but was there an alpha? A dominating force? He folded his ears back against his skull once more.
His jowls clicking together in anxiety he wasn't sure what to do. "I guess we'll find out." He mumbled if only to himself. His head hoisted up toward the sky as his lips curled into an 'o' shape. He let out a soft gentle song out into the sky. If there was an alpha he hoped they would respond. Or anything that was on the lands would at least call back. After the short whisper into the wind he lowered his muzzle and left a simple timid smile on his face. "I hope that gets you your answers miss..." He nodded his head as he continued to back away from her. He stopped on the edge of the flower field. Uncertain where to go next. He looked left and right and sighed lowering his head for a moment completely lost and hopeless. He was glad he could at least give that female some assistance after that heart attack he seemed to have caused her. He didn't dare look back though, he had to figure out where to go. As far as he was concerned and debt he had caused from scaring her was now paid.

Silence -This mirror isn't big enough for the both of us, love.-
On a mountain he sits, not of gold, but of sin. Through the blood he can learn, see the life that it turn. From council of one he'll decide when he's done. With the innocent on his face is a map of the world.
Sacrifice everyone. They will die for what they do not deserve.
No one. No one for love, for bliss, for the conquest of eternity.
Everyone for vanity.
Do not fall victim to equality's ruin on individuality. Suffer only in the flames of your internal battles. Not everyone elses. Not everyone elses vanity.
She figured they could not see her there, sitting, perched, atop one of the many steep hills that were adorned and coupled sweetly with those bright, purple flowers. How long had she been sitting there with her winter white coat hidden by violet rods and weeds that stood almost as high as herself? Her white against the purple must not have been that big of a contrast for them not to notice her, either that, or she was just that short.
Her optics dropped to her small mits gloomily in that thought, but alas, her heart and strength was far greater than that of her own size, and she knew this well. Just thinking upon it brought her out of her sudden emotional slump just as quickly as she was pulled down.
She watched the two of them. Like an eagle in the sky, or perhaps, Leith, who watched over her elemental fledglings from whatever throne she sat upon, Silence eyed them almost as if she were a devoted mother who could not pull her caring gaze from her two cubs.
She never knew what it was like to be a mother, really, and even though the thought crossed her mind, as well as random envy for those mothers she often saw flaunting their children off like trophies, she often was saddened by the fact she had no family of her own. No matter, this pack was her family now, so long as she could maintain sanity while trying to control it.
Already, her ocean of thoughts created it's own little current that washed her onto a whole new shore of worries. Could she control a pack? Should she? She certainly was never rash about things, but there was much more to being a leader than simply putting thought into action. What about her composure? Mood swings came often to the femme and she was in constant rage with herself for it. The only thing she took pride in was her ability to fight and her physical strength as well as strategics and her natural talent as a tactician. Well, her intelligence too, but she didn't count that as being a blessing but more of a learned achievement.
Her tail tapped lightly against the surprisingly dusty earth, claws flexing and scraping against the ground lightly.
Ears perked attentively, her focus shifted to the white male who's calling rung out through the nearby trees and into the woods around them. She tossed one ear back, debating on whether or not to reveal herself.
It wasn't until the wind blew harshly, it's furious breathe slamming against her side, that her focus was broken and her head turned roughly, eyes closing, to avoid the cloud of dust that was blow into her face. Even as the wind seemed to die down, the sting in her eyes did not, and so she continued to paw irritably at her face with a gentle whine.
Finally looking up, she blinked several times, and with a heavy sigh she stood. Slowly, gracefully, cautiously, she stepped around several stones that clung to the side of the hill while refusing to acknowledge the many purple flowers that beat against her sides as she walked. She approached the male more directly, but stopped just a few feet away from him where she knew she could be seen and easily detected. She grew nervous, as she always did around male, and her fur threatened to stand with that tingling sensation that ran down her spine.
Her eyes narrowed, and then shifted to the female beside him. She took a step back, looked back to the male, and concealed the nervous gulp sound that would have been made if she wasn't so eager to impress.
You called, Monsieur?
-Enemy of mine, I'm just a stranger in a strange land.
Guiltly of treason, I've abandoned control.

The white female lowered her head as she watched him. Her auds twitched as she listened to him speak. His body language told her that he didn't want to be here, that he didn't want her too close. Her tail flicked behind her as she sat up and watched the male. Her auds swiveled atop her head as the male let out a song and her head tilted to the side. Her blue eyes gazed at him as he spoke, backing away from her. She frowned as he walked away from her. Was she that horrible to be around, she wondered. It seemed like no one could stand her company, not even her own brother. A heavy sigh escaped her maw as she lowered her head.
Her auds twitched and her head lifted as the sound of paws coming towards them hit her. Her blue gaze wandered around and then turned towards where the male stood. Her pink nostrils flared as the scent of a female hit her nose. Her auds pricked atop her head and she stood, watching another white wolf. It seemed there were a lot of white colored wolves around here. Were all water elements white? she wondered. Shaking the thought from her head she took a step forward but stopped quickly. She didn't want to move towards the male, knowing that he had been trying to get away from her.
So she simply stood, waiting for the alphess to speak with the male. Once they had spoken she would make herself more known. She would ask for acceptance to the pack, and she could only hope that she was accepted. She sat back on her haunches and her tail curled around her paws. Waiting, something she was quite good at for her patience.

It wasn't that he didn't mind the company. It was just he felt that she was afraid of him. So he tried to give her as much distance as possible. Though it seemed as though she was taking it the wrong way. His muzzle pointed back over his shoulder as he saw her take a step toward him only to withdraw it. Ah he didn't mean to seem rude. He was about to turn around and apologize for seeming so distant and rude, and explain to her that it wasn't her really. He had just never grown accustomed to being around wolves and thus it made him uncomfortable. Or at least that's what he would have attempted to utter from his mouth. That was of course, until the sound of claws tapping lightly against the earth caught his attention. His eyes widened as his expression turned to shock. He hadn't been alone at all then? Well gee what an ass hat he must have made of himself. His ear swiveled toward the sound of the other wolf approaching.
His body forced him to get on all fours as his ears folded against his head. Face to face with another wolf. White, except with what seemed to be a black mane stretched on their body and their eyes had some kind of peculiar markings around their eyes. He cleared his throat his eyes darted from the other female to this one when she addressed him. "Ah uh heh...yea uh...I was calling you for her." His neck twitched as he used his muzzle to point toward the female who was a few feet from him. "Because she uh...wants to join your pack." He nodded flashing a toothy nervous grin. This certainly wasn't his behavior. He could generally hold a conversation without sounding like an ass. Perhaps he simply felt nervous with all of the females around him. Or maybe he was just so not used to wolves even paying the slightest attention to him that he reacted this way. Which was honestly, like a fool.
He let out a long slow breath of air leaning back down on his haunches as he cooled his nerves. "Though I suppose I did request you too. I'm looking to join your pack miss." He addressed her as formally as he could. Dipping his head in the utmost respect toward her as he cleared his throat. "My name is Daniel and I humbly request to join your pack." Wow didn't he sound like a tool. Humbly? Who the hell said that anymore anyway? He twitched softly as his brown eyes locked on her. Though he would say no more. What was to be said honestly? Anything more and his mouth would start running like an engine. He clamped his jowls shut as he blinked feverishly staring back at the female tugging his head faintly trying to motion her to come toward him. As if to also apologize for acting so sketchy before without saying a word. He wasn't used to company, it was instinct to walk away instead of actually staying to chat.
